Over the past few months, COVID 19 has impacted how businesses are operating now and into the future. As we manage our businesses through this time, the impacts of COVID 19 may be highlighting areas where your business may need some focus or where you are taking unnecessary risks. Last week the Western Downs Regional Council announced their Business Recovery Planning Program.  Details of the program are listed below.

We are pleased to advise that EnVision Partners are one of the approved advisors for the program.

The program is offering local businesses a free consultation session with a local professional service provider (accountant or business advisor) that can provide professional advice regarding the following:
    • Accessing business assistance and support programs;
    • Advice for cash flow planning and relief;
    • Advice on implementing turnaround and possible growth strategies;
    • Development of a risk management plan;
    • Development of a business continuity plan.
  Consultations are to the value of $550 plus GST.  Applications will open on 8 May 2020 and will cease on 30 June 2021 unless all funds are expended prior to this date. Businesses can apply for the Business Recovery Planning Initiative via Smarty Grants.  The following link will go live on Friday 8 May 2020 https://wdrc.smartygrants.com.au/BRPI Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application within 10 business days from the date of Council receiving a completed application.

EnVision Partners Business Recovery Planning Session

In response to the WDRC program, EnVision Partners are offering a Business Recovery Planning Session to our clients and local businesses. This free 3 hour session which would normally cost up to $1200, is structured to help you assess where you are now, where do you want to be, and what are the main issues your business is facing. The session will aim to provide:
  • Input into what actions/opportunities your business should be considering
    • Immediate actions
    • Future opportunities
    • Ensure your short-term decisions are in line with you long term goals.
  • Identify Your Problems to Find the Solution:  “Confront the brutal facts before they confront you”
  • Timing opportunities due to COVID-19 Incentives
  • Actions to address areas which are causing you concern and stress.
There is a lot to consider when running a business. What should you be aware of?
